What is Anemometer & use?

An Anemometer is an instrument which is used to measure the speed or force of wind and is mostly found in weather stations. This term was derived from a Greek word known as 'enomos' which means 'wind'.


An anemometer is an apparatus used to measure the speed of the wind. This apparatus is made of either rotating cups or with a propeller like that of an aero vane. 

There is a varitey of anemometers with multi fucntions in markert as,
Pocket sized Thermo-Anemometer for Air Velocity, Temperature and Wind-chill measurements. Simultaneously display Air Velocity and Temperature or Wind-chill on the LCD screen. Selectable averaging function of 5, 10, or 13 second intervals.
